This year I spent my vacation in Greece in the Corfu Island’s villa Darina, in Dassia. Primarily, I should say that it was my first experience of renting villa. So, I was a bit tense in anticipation of a meeting with the unknown. But the reality did not disappoint. Of course, before you go somewhere, you read the reviews, but there wasn't any comment on ‘my' villa. That is why I decided to be probably the first.) Starting from the very beginning, I should designate the owners of Darina. They are very friendly, warning and caring people. And I can definitely say that just because of their attitude to guests I want to come here again. The nature of Corfu is the miracle. There is everything: mountains and plains, olive trees and palms, smells of pines and lemons in the air, stunning views of the sun gently pink at sunrise and crimson red at sunset. And, certainly, the sea... Ionian sea...The sea that lives with you in this villa. Due to the panoramic windows the sea becomes almost a member of your family, its integral part. O, Lord, this boundless azure blue! Enthusiasm and joy of existense engulfed us from the first day. Our bay was sufficiently large, about 2 kilometers, encircled by mountains. The seaside is a pebble. But after entering the water about 2 metres there is beautiful almost white fine sand underfoot. A strip of the beach is narrow and , maybe therefore, not so crowded. In general the beach is not necessary, because the sun beds are in 20 meters from the sea next to the villa's pool. Speaking about the pool, I should mention the jacuzzi. My little children named it " a little pool" and tried to swim only there. The villa itself has a very good location- close to the beach but away from noisy cafes and bars. And although Dassia, the locality of the villa, is a small village, its infrastructure is very extended- there are a lot of supermarkets, pharmacies, renting cars, bikes and cycles, different cafes, called "tavernas". Near to the villa there is a large hotel Chandris. From the one side, it seems to be uncomfortable: the crowds of noisy tourists. From the other hand, the hotel has its own facilities with a gym, a hairdressers, a boat station and spa. As for the fear of the noisy neighborhood, there are so many large trees around the villa, that you get the feeling that you are Robinson Crusoe)) The house itself is a very comfortable cozy family nest , where every detail is thought out. I felt at home immediately. In fact, I think I can talk endlessly about the Olympia villa and Corfu. I fell in love with this magical island forever. I felt every stone, which I held in my hands as if I touched eternity, primeval pull to the source of life. At this point I would like to finish my story, because next year I would like to come back and find "my" villa vacant.
